Our Christmas shindig was in January because you amazing customers kept us very busy during December with your orders.
For our Christmas night out myself and Claire went to the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool for Afternoon Tea. How good does it look in that picture?
It consisted of a lovely pot of tea, a glass of Prosecco with a strawberry, Scones, cakes and an assortment of finger sandwiches.
Fun Fact. Cornish Scones are made with the Jam on the bottom with the cream on top (the Cornish are very proud of their cream) whereas Devonshire Scones are made with jam on top because they are slightly ashamed of their cream.
Claire had a theory that if you put the jam on second then it would slip off the cream. It didn’t slip.
We swapped a few sandwiches too! I don’t eat pork and Claire doesn’t like cheese therefore, SWAPSIES! Oh! She also had my egg and cress one too, I’m not a fan.
We will certainly be going back again, and again and AGAIN!
